However, with the increase in subscription rates, MultiChoice allowed customers to keep renewing at the old rate for the next 12 months with the Price Lock offers.
The Price Lock offer
Price Lock will cushion the price increase effective 1st May 2024; and will allow customers to retain the old subscription price for the next 12 months. The Price Lock offer is open to all DStv and GOtv subscribers.
For example, if you are on Compact on DStv or a Max subscriber on GOtv and your subscription expires every 3rd of the month, make sure you renew before the 3rd to keep enjoying the old price of N9,000 or N4,150 respectively.
The Price Lock is available for the next 12 months between May 2024 to April 2024, and you can still renew your GOtv or DStv subscription at the old rate.
You have to renew your subscription before 30th April or before your subscription expires to qualify.
How to qualify
The Price Lock offer is a safety net against price increases, so you can still enjoy the same price of your GOtv or DStv package for the next 12 months.
To qualify for the Price Lock offer, you must;
- be an active subscriber as of April 30th, 2024.
- To retain the old price, you must make sure you renew your subscription before it expires.
You can sign up to auto-renew with a valid card to automatically renew your subscription. You can also download the MyGOtv or MyDStv app.
